At the other end of scale is a complete repaint of an older style weatherboard that needs interior and exterior repainting. This is likely to take several weeks; involve significant prep (and sometimes structural repairs); several team members and significant materials.

Some clients are happy to pay a flat daily rate; others want a fixed project cost.

Full Exterior Paint: 5-7 Days (single storey)

Generally we can do a full exterior repaint on an average 3 bedroom weatherboard house in 5-7 days; including undercoat and two coats of Dulux Weathershield (assuming the boards are in good condition & good weather). Add 2-3 days if significant prep work is required to fill, patch and sand surfaces.

Full Interior Paint: 3-5 Days if vacant; 7-10 Days if occupied

A standard 3 Bed 2Bath home we can complete in 3-5 days. We take longer for interior painting assume the property is occupied; as we usually have to complete the painting in "sections" to ensure the property is still habitable / functional. If the property is vacant (inclusive of people, pets & furniture); only then can this be achieved in as little as 3-5 days - again depending on the condition of the surfaces; and access.

You absolutely can, but it is usually cheaper for you to get it through professional painters like us, as we get trade rates and pass those savings onto you. We generally recommend Dulux and Haymes paints.

If you do get your own paint, please choose your colors carefully. We are happy to help but once the paint is mixed; unless it is a standard color we are unlikely to be able to return it.
